ON MY WAY BACK TO THE CAR PARK FROM A LOVELY DAY OUT IN YORK I TOOK A WRONG TURNING.

THANK GOD I DID.AS AN INTERIOR DESIGNER I AM ALWAYS ON THE LOOK OUT FOR ORIGINAL INTERESTING PICTURES SO I TEND TO GO IN EVERY GALLERY IN EVERY TOWN.

AS I FOUND OUT WHEN TALKING TO A LOVELY HANDSOME SALESMAN THE GALLERY HAS BEEN ON THE GO FOR AGES.ITS NOT TO BE CONSUSED WITH THE CASTLE GALLERY NEXT DOOR (THAT GALLERY IS LOVELY TOO,BUT ITS MAINLY PRINTS) OF COWS/SHEEP/DOGS HEADS AND THE LIKE.

ANYWAY....THE COPPERGATE GALLERY HAS A WONDERFUL MIXTURE OF OLD STYLE AND MODERN STYLE.I WAS VERY TAKEN WITH ACYLICS OF DIGBY PAGE.YES THEY WERE EXPENSIVE,BUT YOU CAN PAY MORE FOR A PRINT THESE DAYS.

IM VERY HAPPY TO HAVE FOUND THE COPPERGATE GALLERY AND WILL DEFINATELY BE BACK THE NEXT TIME IM IN YORK.

TO BE HONEST I EVEN BOUGHT SOME PICTURES JUST TO USE THE MOUNTS AND FRAME (THEY ARE SUPER).
