"There's only 2 pubs in Riccall"

Unfortunatley, this one comes 2nd. It's competitors, the Greyhound Inn just some 200 metres round the corner, offer a better menu, and drinks are more favourably priced!!. Along with B&B, the Greyhound also offers a web-site, something which I would also look for when looking for a venue worth it's salt. Having said the, the Hare & Hounds is still worth a visit, on a Mon-Thus, where pints are all sold at £2. It's a shame that they can't do this all week including bank holidays, as this would pull more 'punters' in according to the villagers. So let's hope Ashcroft and Pollard (the owners) stop being so greedy (they are accountants), and help the village pubs make it through this difficult time!!
