"A Relaxing Drink in The Bar!"

A review of The Hopgrove by Sylvia Milson written on Thursday 29th of January 2009

Two of us called in for a drink Wednesday 28th January. The carpark looked very quiet and so we thought there might be a chance to get a drink.

There was a queue at the bar and only one slow person serving. After waiting 10 minutes and seeing countless waitresses walking past behind the bar we decided to do without. On our way out we saw the manager stood gossiping to a few people totally unconcerned about the number of people not getting served.

This has happened before, but when we have perseverred and got a drink we then found the tables to be full of empty glasses and very sticky.

My partner lives locally and unfortunately this is the only pub open at the moment within that area. If there was a minus rating score I would fill that in.

It is really bad news.
