"Poor service average food"

I agree - one of the waiters was very rude when trying to get past me to serve the meals. He seemed to be in a very bad mood and just lumped our cutlery on the table (this was at the start of the meal!).

As for the food, I enjoyed my starter but for the main course the lamb was very grisly and a bit of a disappointment.

It was cheap but there are plenty of other curryhouses in that part of York where you will find better food, better service, and a better experience..
