A review of York Steiner School by Andy written on Friday 25th of May 2012

My daughter completed education at the Steiner school 5 years ago, going on to get A grades in her GCSEs and A levels at a local state school. She is now at Edinburgh College of Art. Whats even more important is that she is a resilient enthusiastic caring well rounded individual. Steiner schools are seen by some as a bit querky in this country but elsewhere in Europe are state funded and well regarded. The ethos is inclusive with means tested contributions and parental involvement in the running of the school strongly encouraged. 'Enquirer mornings' are held on a regular basis and are the best way to find out more about the education offered and the life of the school. .
