"A big disappointment"

A review of Tanglewood by Anonymous - Monday 19th of July 2010

My husband and I visited the Tanglewood a couple of weeks ago having heard that it had been refurbished and was no longer a chain pub. We went for Sunday lunch. We were both very disappointed at the small portions we were given and could not believe that the vegetables we recieved were for both of us and not just for one! We like our veg cooked well but this was a little overcooked and mushy. Quite expensive for such as small amount an so we decided to skip having a sweet. If you want value for money go for a good carvery somewhere else is our recommendation.
