"Why is it so difficult and time consuming to report problems"A review of Royal Mail by D. Casper - Saturday 27th of February 2010Trying to make an urgent report about damaged mail (two ripped open letters within two days, one with lost content) takes far too long and complicated a route. Why is a local office/depot contact number listed to report problems when you are then given on 0845 number to ring. It then takes you ages to work your way through various `options` before you finally get to the `contact a person to talk to` point. Then you get that familiar `all our operatives are busy` answer, `hold or call back later`. All taking time and money wasted because Royal Mail doesn`t seem to want to offer a `service` for its customers but only seems to operate a system that racks up a large phone bill for anyone trying to make a complaint. |
