"The advertised telephone number is wrong"

I tried for half an hour to find out which Delivery Office was responsible for a letter that my daughter has not received from me. This was extremely important as it contained material she needs for her dissertation. It was posted from Newcastle on Monday evening and as of today Thursday it hasn't arrived nor has the house had any mail delivered. It is the Birch Park Delvery office but when I have tried all of the advertised telephone numbers they are not recognised. The only number that did work was the general one for enquirers which I had already rung.

What is going on. I feel as though I am going round in circles and unable to make contact with anyone who might be able to help me..
