Had all our windows (around a dozen) and three doors replaced, from partly original 1950's stock and partly 1980's replacement DG (council installed). 
It took them a few weeks to manufacture them and around 7 days to fit them. The quality of joinery was first rate, and the finishing work was tidy. 
They took the trouble to ask us whether we preferred a stock catalogue front door, and were careful to build the frame around it for a far better fit than the one it replaced.
